OK- I’ve been there done that, helped many friends with the same problem. Life happens but Let’s Organize it.
Office Depot, Office Max, Walmart, Ross. Just a whew suggestions on finding organization tools.
First-Breath. Now, let’s sit down and make a list of what needs to be done. To make it simple, just start with one room or table at a time, and please forget the rest of the house, just this one room or table. I’ll repeat myself, just this one project at a time. Remember to breath. Hugs.
Now that you have the room or table picked out, take out that list. Why? Because you need to empty that room or table and start from scratch. Trust me and you will thank me later. You are going to check off that list as you go along and it will Inspire you to continue as you make progress.
Once you have emptied the room or table. We then go to the have to keep, the not keep (because you just don’t seeing it fit anymore, nor have you even touched it but to dust it or if it’s the table, it’s junk mail you haven’t thrown away). Prioritize.
If it’s a room or a table make the piles of what is a keeper and what is “it’s time to go, this includes your closet of clothes”.
Need to file to keep.
Haven’t worn it in two years? Will never fit back into it? Think it’s a goal to fit back into it? You decide. But don’t be anything but real with yourself, common, think about it. If you wore it in your 30’s and you’re now in your 40’s…Hun, it’s either gone out of style or simply something you won’t fit into again. And if you do, how will you really look?? Purge. We are looking for a fresh start!
The table of mail…
Oh that table of mail.
