Genghis Khan: Explore the Warrior’s Lasting Influence in New Exhibit here in LA!
Located at the Ronald Reagan public library. Did you know this man was a lot more than just the only founder and the first of it’s kind to create the Mongol Empire? He went on to become the first and the Great Genghis Khan. This empire became to be the largest contiguous empire in history, even after his death.
Not only a great ruler, Genghis played many roles. A warrior but also as a lawmaker and influencer who introduced such things as cannons, pants, skis, violins, paper money and the pony express to the West.
Did you also know he dominated three times more land in his lifetime than either Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great? I didn’t. It was a conquest attested to by the array of swords, bows, arrows, saddles and armor. The library displays all of these through out the exhibit of Genghis Khan. I personally can’t believe what was accomplished in the 13th century.
His power came by being able to unite many nomadic tribes in Northeast Asia.
This has been the largest collection of Genghis Khan to ever be on tour. Well worth the trip to the Reagan Library! Below is the link and information. Enjoy!
